PESHAWAR: Rainfall in several areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) on Saturday turned the weather pleasant, giving a sigh of relief to citizens.
However, wind and hailstorm had also caused damages in some areas.
According to Met Office, rain coupled by wind and hailstorm has caused damages to standing crops, buildings, and electricity installations at scattered places of Peshawar, Mardan, Malakand, Hazara and Dera Ismail Khan Divisions.
Similarly, rain also turned weather pleasant in most parts of Fata. However, in Khyber Agency water level in torrents rose up due to heavy rain.
