ISLAMABAD: Opposition’s Rehbar committee met in Islamabad to have consultation over the name of new Chief Election Commissioner.
The meeting was held under the chair of Akram Durrani with Ayaz Sadiq, Owais Noorani, Malik Ayub, Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Iftikhar Hussain and others in attendance.
The meeting discussed the proceedings of today’s parliamentary committee meeting to mull over appointments in ECP.
The Rehbar Committee also held consultation to file petition in SC for timely appointments in the ECP.
