ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Sadiq Sanjrani will be no more chairman Senate from tomorrow.
He was talking to newsmen here on Wednesday. Bilawal Bhutto also hosted the opposition senators at a reception, which was attended by senators of the joint oppositions including opposition leader Raja Zafarul Haq and others.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the opposition has the required numbers for ousting the chairman Senate through vote of no confidence. He said that the chairman Senate should resign, otherwise he would be ousted through voting on no-trust resolution in the Senate as the opposition has the required numbers.
“If Sadiq Sanjrani sahib has decided to resign even now, it will be a good decision,” he said, adding that the opposition had gathered enough numbers to deseat the Senate chairman.
“It would have been good if the Senate chairman had resigned, otherwise he is going tomorrow anyway.”
