Sartaj declares Indian missile tests threat to Pakistan’s security

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz Thursday said that India’s supersonic interceptor missile test will disturb balance of power in the region.
Addressing to Senate, Sartaj said that Indian missile tests are not only a threat to Pakistani security, but also a great dangers for balance of power in the region.
He said that Pakistan will present resolution, regarding nuclear weapons free Indian Ocean, to United Nations General Assembly.
Sartaj Aziz said that India is launching nuclear weapons race in Indian ocean. Recent nuclear tests are not only a threat to Pakistan’s security, but also an open evidence for irresponsibility of India. He said that Pakistan has seriuos concerns over those missile tests, which is causing imbalance in regional power.
Sartaj Aziz further said that Pakistan is fully aware of the need of its border protection and border requirements, which is why Pakistan will continue to improve its defence capability without joining weapons race. Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan never recieved positive reply from India despite invited several times for negotiations regarding nuclear weapons. He announced that Pakistan will present resolution to United Nations General Assembly regarding nuclear weapons free Indian Ocean.
