ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court Wednesday allowed the Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) and Falahi Insaniyat Foundation (FIF) to continue their relief and charity work in the country.
The two-member SC bench including Justice Manzoor Ahmed Mulk and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood heard the federal government’s appeal against Lahore High Court’s verdict, which had allowed the JuD and FIF to continue their charity activities.
The apex court rejected the government’s appeal and allowed the JuD and FIF to continue their charity activities.
The federal government had banned companies and individuals from making donations to JuD, FIF, and other organisations on the UNSC sanctions list.
