SC orders establishment of 120 Accountability Courts across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) while hearing a suo moto case on coronavirus, has directed Commissioner Karachi to open all markets of Karachi.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) has directed Commissioner Karachi to ensure the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) instead of sealing markets and directed to reopen all sealed markets of Karachi.
CJP Justice Gulzar also directed authorities to allow all small markets of the country to remain open on even Saturday and Sunday and said that “Has pandemic promised government to not spread on weekends”.
The court also summoned Chief Secretary Sindh and asked the Sindh government to submit directions regarding the opening of malls.
