SC rejects petition against appointment of Zulfi as special assistant to PM

LAHORE: The Supreme Court (SC) Wednesday rejected application against appointment of Zulfi Bukhari as special Assistant to Prime Minister.
A three-member bench headed by chief justice Mian Saqib Nisar heard the petition for disqualification of Zulfi Bukhari. Counsel for Bukhari, Atizaz Ahsan told the court that Bukhari was not using the powers of state minister. He said that the British Airways returned to Pakistan due to the efforts of Bukhari.
The court rejected the petition and ruled that Zulfi Bukhari could continue to work as special assistant to prime minister.
