Sha’ban moon sighted in Pakistan

Zil Hajj moon sighted, Eid ul Azha to be celebrated on August 12

KARACHI: The moon of the Islamic month of Sha’ban-ul-Muazzam has been sighted throughout the country on Saturday.
This was announced by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman after a meeting of the Committee held at Pakistan Metrological Department in Karachi today.
He said that the first of Sha’ban will fall on Sunday, April 7, 2019.
The moon of Shahban-ul-Moazzam has been sighted and tomorrow will be the 1st of Shahban 1440 Hijri.
