Sheikh Rasheed not happy with Shahbaz appointment as PAC chairman

LAHORE: Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad is not happy with the government’s decision to appoint opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif as chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
Responding to a question during a press conference here on Saturday, the minister said that he had opposed the appointment of Shahbaz Sharif as chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC). He said that if Shahbaz Sharif is honest, then there is no dishonest person in the PML-N.
He said said that steps were being taken to improve the standard of Pakistan Railways and to provide maximum relief to the people.
He said new passenger and freight trains will be inaugurated soon including a new train between Lahore and Rawalpindi.
He invited the private sectors to contribute in the development of railways. He said that VIP trains will be launched soon with the collaboration of private partners.
The Minister said Pakistan Railways will introduce a mobile app for conveying trains schedule to the people.
