PESHAWAR: Pakistani troops and militants exchanged fire in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a shootout that killed four soldiers and four militants, the army sources said on Saturday.
According to security forces source, the shootout took place in Tabu Khel area of Ghulam Khan Tehsil that is a former stronghold of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan or TTP. Militants attacked security checkpost in which four soliders were martyred and eight others injured. The forces retaliated effectively to firing by terrorists, resulting in killing of four terrorists.
