PESHAWAR: A trader from Sikh community was shot dead inside his shop in Peshawar, meanwhile a CTD policeman was martyred and a terrorist was killed during an operation in Mardan.
According to Khyber News correspondent, two unknown armed motorcyclists targeted Dial Singh at his shop on Ring Road in Peshawar. The police said that unknown armed motorcyclists opened firing at Dial Singh at his shop in Dir Colony on Ring Road Peshawar. The rescue personnel rushed him to  hospital in critical condition, where the doctors pronounced him dead.
The police said that the attackers escaped after firing. The police have started investigation and looking for CCTV footages in the areas.
Meanwhile the CTD carried out an intelligence based operation in Jehangirabad area of Mardan. The CTD personnel and terrorist exchanged firing during the raid at a home. One terrorist was killed while a personnel of the CTD also embraced martyrdom in the operation.
