Stop blaming Pakistan, focus on Afghanistan, Maleeha advises US

UNITED NATIONS: Pakistan’s permanent ambassador to the United Nations (UN) Maleeha Lodhi has said that the United States should focus on its challenges in Afghanistan rather than blaming Pakistan.
She added that the countries believing terrorists’ sanctuaries existed outside Afghanistan should examine the facts and figures minutely.
Maleeha said that the past 17 years of war in Afghanistan proved that the issued could not be solved by force adding that the policy of using force in Afghanistan would help resolve the issue was out of question.
She also come down hard on India in her statement saying that rather than blaming Pakistan for destabilizing Afghanistan, New Delhi should see its record of terror activities in Pakistan.
The ambassador said that the confessional statement of convicted Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav was a crystal clear proof that Indian was involved in terrorism inside Pakistan.
It merits mentioning that Indian ambassador to the UN had accused Pakistan of destabilizing Afghanistan.
