KOHAT: The Tanda Dam boat tragedy rescue operation entered into its fourth day on Wednesday to recover missing student death body from the water.
Pakistan army troops along with Rescue 1122 and civil administration working have so far recovered 53 dead bodies from the water that include 51 students, a teacher, and a skipper.
Five students were also rescued from the water who were taken to shifted to district Hospital Kohat for treatment.
Over 59 students, aged between 7 and 14, of a seminary in village Mir Badshah Khel had been taken for a day trip to the scenic popular weekend tourist destination on Sunday.
The overloaded boat, capsized in the middle of the dam while carrying the students to other side of the dam.
The boat had capacity of carrying only 20 to 22 people.
A boy named Hamza is still missing in the dam, according to rescue 1122, and the search for him is underway. The remaining dead bodies were retrieved from the water, while five students had rescued alive on the first day of the rescue operation.
