MIRANSHAH: The repatriation of the temporary displaced persons from Danda Darpa Khel would start after Eidul Fitr.
This was announced by GOC Major Gen Azhar Hasan Hayat during an iftar part with leaders of Utmanzai tribe in Miranshah, North Waziristan Agency. The tribal elders, military and civil administration officials discussed the ongoing development projects, rehabilitation, law and order situation and repatriation of the TDPs to their respective villages.
The GOC hailed the role of the North Waziristan’s tribesmen in the success of the Zarb-e-Azb operation and said that the government would solve their problems on priority bases. He said that the TDPs repatriation would be completed very soon, which would be restarted after Eidul Fitr.
The Utmanzai tribal elders appreciated the sacrifices of the Pakistan army for restoration of peace in the region and assured complete support to army for maintaining peace and security in North Waziristan Agency.
