SUKKUR: Police on a tip-off thwarted a major terror bid and arrested five terrorists from Sukkur By-Pass on Sunday.
The law enforcement agencies carried out a secret operation in the area and nabbed five terrorists and recovered detonators, ball-bearings and other material used in making suicide bombs.
The arrested terrorists, Hadayat, Jamal, Yar Muhammad, Sher Ali and Nazar, were going to Karachi from Sukkur to to carry out terrorist activities. Police sources informed media that four of the arrested terrorists are from Balochistan.
