MAZAR-E-SHARIF: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that peaceful neighbourhood with Afghanistan is inevitable for promoting peace, progress and prosperity in region.
Addressing a ceremony of Jashn-e-Nowruz in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan, he said terrorism remains a common threat to both the countries.
He said that Pakistan is committed to pursuit comprehensive bilateral engagement in various fields such as trade, investment, cultural, education and sports links.
The governor said that Afghanistan and Pakistan are two neighbouring countries sharing same traditions, cultures, religion and mutual respect.
