CHARSADDA: A major terrorism attempt was foiled as police arrested a terrorist of banned terror organization and recovered two suicide jackets, hand grenades and arms from his possession here on Wednesday in Shabqadar tehsil of Charsadda district.
Police said that the terrorist was arrested during operation in Shabqadar tehsil. Police said that two suicide jackets, hand grenades, explosives and huge cache of arms were recovered from the procession of the arrested terrorist. Literature of banned terrorism organizations were also recovered from his procession.
The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) personnel defused the suicide jackets and bombs.
