QUETTA: Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that the war against terrorisom would continue in the country till the complete elimination of the menace.
Talking to media in Qeutta after visiting the Bethel Memorial Church where at least nine people were killed and 50 injured in a terrorist attack on December 17, the minister said that terrorists who had run away were now re-entering the country from its Western border.
Iqbal assured the Christian community that the federal and provincial governments stood with them in solidarity.
He maintained that every Pakistani should feel safe in the country.
He also advised the country’s political parties to promote brotherhood and unity and refrain from pulling each other’s legs.
The minister said that it was our duty to ensure peace and stability in the country, advising political parties that sit-ins would benefit only those who wanted to destabilize Pakistan.
