Three family members brutally killed in Mansehra

Two killed, four injured in clash between tribes in North Waziristan

MANSEHRA: At least three people including father in law, a woman and her minor daughter were brutally killed on Wednesday at Oghi Doraha.
According to Oghi police, Samina Bibi and her father in law were coming back from Battagram to Mansehra after attending a hearing in the court of law. When they reached Oghi Doraha, unknown assailants waiting in a concealed position opened fire at their van and shot dead all of three persons on the scene.
Samina Bibi who hails from Kohistan, had gotten Khula (divorce) from her first husband Gul Maizer and remarried to Umair.
The first husband of Samina Bibi had registered a case of kidnapping against Umair who was later arrested by the police and locked up in Battagram police custody.
Samina Bibi her father-in-law Abdullah son of Muhammad Ayub and her two-year-old daughter Janum had gone to Battagram for the hearing in kidnapping
case.
Oghi police claimed to have arrested six murder accused when they were fleeing after committing the crime and also recovered arms and ammunition.
Police also registered a case against 12 persons including the first husband Gul Maizer, his father, Jamshed and started search operation to arrest the other accused.
Police shifted the dead bodies to hospital for postmortem and later handed them over to the family of Umair.
