MIRANSHAH: At least three persons were killed and two injured in a US drone attack in North Waziristan Agency near Pak-Afghan border on Thursday.
According to sources, the US drone targeted a compound in Gorwek area of North Waziristan Agency. The sources said that three persons were killed while two others were injured in the attack. There are reports that the dead militants belong to Haqqani network.
However, the local political administration claimed that the drone attack was carried out on Afghan side of the border.
