KURRAM: At lest three security personnel were embraced martyrdom in exchange of firing with terrorists in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.
According to statement issued by the Pak-Army media wing, the ISPR, terrorists attacked security forces when they conducted an operation in the area against suspected terrorists.
In the ensuing exchange of fire, three soldiers were martyred.
They included 43-year-old Subedar Shuja, hailing from Khairpur in Sindh, 32-year-old Ramzan from Khuzdar in Balochistan, and 30-year-old Abdul Rehman was from Sukkur in Sindh.
In a strong reaction, two terrorists were killed in security forces firing. According to ISPR, the killed terrorists were wanted to security forces. The security personnel recovered arms and ammunition from the possession of the terrorists.
