LOWER DIR: Two people lost their lives and five other sustained injuries as a pickup plunges into a ravine in Umari area of Lower Dir on Thursday.
According to reports, the pickup was heading to a local market when it fell into a gorge killing two people on the spot and injuring five others.
Those who lost their lives were identified as father and son named as Haleem and Gul Bacha.
The injured people included driver of the pickup Qadar Baash, Muhammad Anwar, Rehmat Bacha, Anwar Zada and Salma.
All the injured have been rushed to Chakdara hospital where they were reported to be out of danger.
