Two ministers of PML-N, one ex-minister of PPP joins PTI

ISLAMABAD: A member of Punjab Assembly hailing from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Faisal Farooq Cheema on Monday joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Cheema parted his ways with PML-N and announced to have joined PTI after a meeting with Imran Khan.
Cheema was elected from Sargodha in the 2013 General Elections and belongs to an influential political family of the area.
Earlier, media outlets reported that a member of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly hailing from PML-N Arbab Waseem Hayat joined the PTI.
Hayat had won the PK-8 by-election in Peshawar in 2016 from a PML-N ticket.
Meanwhile, media reports suggested that an ex-member of National Assembly hailing from Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Malik Nawab Sher Waseer has also joined PTI.
