MIRAN SHAH: At least three Levies officials embraced martyrdom while another sustained severe injuries when a bomb explosion hit security checkpost in North Waziristan today (Saturday).
The explosion took place in Shewa tehsil of North Waziristan tribal district when the security personnel were performing their duties. The martyred Levies officials were identified as Ameer Zaman and Abdul Wali.
The officers said that the explosive material was placed near the checkpost. Security forces has cordoned off the entire area while search operation has also been launched.
