RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers embraced martyrdom late Wednesday in unprovoked firing of Indian forces in Bhimber Sector at the Line of Control (LoC), said a statement of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The statement read that 32-year-old Munir Chauhan of Kahuta village and 28-year-old Umer Hussain of Bhimber district embraced martyrdom in cross-border firing.
It added that Pakistan troops targeted Indian check posts and destroyed the armed installments in retaliation.
“Pakistan Army troops responded to Indian unprovoked firing. Reports of substantial damage to Indian posts,” Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
Indian forces violated the ceasefire violation a day after Foreign Ministry summoned Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh and lodged protest with him over ceasefire violations at the LoC and Working Boundary.
