Two terrorist arrested as Peshawar police foils imminent terror attack

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar police on Monday thwarted a major imminent terror attempt after arresting two terrorists for planning a terror attack. 
Two terrorists were arrested in Wali Jan Garhi area of Mithra, suburb of Peshawar, today after recovering two bombs of 20 kilograms each on and arms. 
According to police, they conducted a raid in Wali Jan Garhi area after receiving inputs from the secret agencies about the whereabouts of terrorists. 
During the raid, they arrested five people including two terrorists after police found two bombs of 20 kilograms each, 2 rocket launchers and 2 rockets.
The arrested suspects were shifted to undisclosed location for further interrogation. 
Search and strike operation is underway in Peshawar, where 70 suspects, including 27 illegal Afghan residents, have been rounded up from different areas.
