Uplift schemes in tribal districts to be finalized in consultation with locals: KP CM

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has said that providing relief to the people of newly merged districts is the foremost priority of the provincial government.
Talking to a representative delegation of tribal elders from South Waziristan District in Peshawar today, he said development schemes in the tribal districts will be finalized in consultation with the locals.
The Chief Minister also assured the delegation that survey for damages assessment will be completed soon and compensations will be given accordingly.
He directed the concerned officials for taking pragmatic steps to materialize the establishment of Education City in the district.
