Talking to reporters at Ohio, he said that it is up to New Delhi and Islamabad to decide on mediation and he is ready to assist both the sides.
He said that the issue of Kashmir had been going on for a long time.
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are fantastic people.
During his meeting with Imran Khan on July 22, the Trump offered to mediate the decades-long Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India, a move that signaled a shift in long-standing US policy that the issue must be solved bilaterally.
