Yaum-e-Ashur to be observed tomorrow amid tight security

ISLAMABAD: Yaum-e-Ashur will be observed on Wednesday with due solemnity and sanctity to pay homage to the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain Razi Allah-ho Tala Anho and his companions in Karbala.
Alam, Zuljinah and Taazia processions will be taken out in all small and big towns of the country.
The Ulema and Zakireen will highlight the teachings of Hazrat Imam Hussain and various aspects of Karbla tragedy.
Strict security measures have been made along the routes of processions to avoid any untoward incident.
The Zuljinnah and Taazia processions of 9th of Muharram were taken out in various parts of the country on Tuesday.
Most of the procession terminated after reaching their destinations by marching on their traditional routes.
In Islamabad, the main procession culminated at its originating point Imambargah Asna Ashri, while the procession in Rawalpindi concluded at Imambargah Colonel Maqbool Hussain.
Elaborate security arrangements were put in place to avoid any untoward incident.
In Peshawar, main procession of 9th Muharram was taken out from Imambargah Hussainia Hall, Saddar Road today.
The procession after passing through its traditional routes terminated at its starting point peacefully.
Strict security arrangements were put in place to maintain law and order. Aerial surveillance of the procession routes was also carried out.
Nearly one hundred twenty one small and big processions will be taken out in Peshawar and other cities of the province and FATA on Wednesday.
In Karachi, the main procession of 9th Muharram has reached its destination after passing through its traditional route.
In Mirpur, main Zuljinnah and Tazia procession will be taken out from central Imambargah Sa’adat colony on Wednesday.
The procession after passing through its traditional routes will terminate at the same imambargah.
