YDA strike enters seventh consecutive day in Punjab

LAHORE: Young Doctors Association (YDA) continued their strike on seventh day today (Monday) as the doctors have boycotted in and off various hospitals across Punjab.
According to details, senior doctors have been called to perform their duties in place of the protesting doctors in Lahore’s Jinnah and Services hospitals whereas patients are facing immense difficulties in Multan hospitals.
Young doctors said that the strike will be continued until the administration fulfills their demands while the management has directed to take stern action against them.
On the other hand, Punjab Health Department has suspended more than 60 doctors and has also started new hiring.
YDA has announced to hold press conference today.
