LEAs arrest 67 suspects in operations across Sindh, Punjab

Five POs among 105 outlaws arrested in Peshawar

KARACHI: The Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) have conducted search operations in different areas of Sindh and Punjab and apprehended as many as 67 suspects.
Rangers arrested at least 15 suspects during a search operation in Karachi’s Chanesar Goth. Moreover, a suspect was killed in exchange of fire with police in Karachi’s Quaidabad area. Weapons, stolen mobile phone and looted valuables were also seized from the suspect.
Three suspects were arrested during a search operation within the jurisdiction of Preedy police station. The suspects were allegedly involved in targeted killings, extortion and robbery cases.
According to the Rangers spokesperson, the suspects belonged to Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London. Two dacoits were arrested during operations in Jamshed Quarters and Korangi.
Operations were also carried out in different districts of Punjab. During the operations, 47 suspects were taken into custody. Weapons and contrabands were also seized from the suspect’s possession.
