MARDAN: The syndicate committee of the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AKUM) has decided to reopen the main campus of the university on May 22 (Monday).
The university was closed on April 13 after lynching of journalism department student Mashal Khan by the mob.
The committee decided that the Garden Campus, in which Mashal was killed, would be reopened on May 25, while classes at Shankar campus will start from May 24.
The decision to open the campuses in phases has been taken due to security concerns.
