Forces repulse attack, kill 5 terrorists in Swabi: ISPR

SWABI: The security forces have repulsed terrorists’ attack in Malikabad area of Swabi on Tuesday and killed five terrorists, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement.
The statement said that two security personnel including Captain Junaid and Sepoy Amjad also embraced martyrdom in exchange of firing with terrorists.
It added that security forces conducted intelligence based operation in Malikabad area where terrorists opened firing on them.
As a result, Captain Junaid and Sepoy Amjad embraced martyrdom, said the ISPR.
Security forces cordoned off the area and retaliated the attack, said ISPR and added that five terrorists were killed.
Three of the terrorists were identified as Majid alias Khalid, Yousaf alias Chhota Khalid and Jawad all belonged to Swabi while the remaining two terrorists seemed to be Afghan nationals, ISPR added.
It said that the terrorists were planning on to attack educational institutions and judicial complex.
The statement said that sacrifices of the armed forces of Pakistan would not go in vain and the terrorists would have to bear the consequences for spreading terror in the country.
