A tragic accident occurred involving a passenger coach traveling from Turbat to Quetta, resulting in the deaths of 28 people, including women and children.
According to rescue officials, the coach fell into a deep ditch, causing numerous injuries among the passengers. The injured, also including women and children, will receive initial medical aid before being transferred to Quetta for further treatment. The deceased have been taken to Civil Hospital Basima for identification.
AC Basima, Ismail Mengal, stated that the accident was caused by high speed. Levies officials reported that the bus carried 48 individuals, including the driver and two conductors.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed deep sorrow and regret over the tragic loss of lives in the accident near Washik. He conveyed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
