MIRANSHAH: “Everything has turned to ashes—my dreams, the shop, and all its goods,” said a trader whose shop was destroyed in the massive blaze in Miranshah area of North Waziristan tribal district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
His shop was among more than 50 that were engulfed by the fire at a Market in front of Pakistan Market in Miranshah bazaar, reducing goods worth millions of rupees to ashes.
According to Rescue 1122, the fire erupted around 1 a.m. last night. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. The affected shops included those selling scrap, vegetables, fruits, and shoes, all operated by vendors, as reported by the police. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
