The eagerly awaited 5G technology is set to make its debut in Pakistan next year.
Caretaker Federal Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication Dr. Umar Saif said that launch of 5G technology scheduled for July next year. The launch will accompany a spectrum auction offering 300 MHz.
In discussions with the media, Minister Saif also shared plans for boosting Pakistan’s IT exports to the Middle East, citing three Qatari companies that have inked memorandums of understanding.
Additionally, the minister emphasized the government’s efforts to address 5G-related challenges currently encountered by telecom firms.
