TOKYO: Two powerful earthquakes on Thursday struck Japan, forcing the authorities to issue Tsunami warnings for several regions.
On the Richter scale, the magnitude of the first earthquake was recorded at 6.9 and the second at 7.1.
The earthquake in Japan forced the high-speed train to stop, while according to the PIMA center, the depth of the earthquake recorded at 25 km.
Due to the earthquake, people were evacuated from the nearby buildings, while a tsunami warning has been issued in 5 prefectures in Japan after the earthquake.
The tremors were felt in the island of Kyushu and Shikoku.
