The presiding officer of the Balochistan Assembly has barred Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Presidential candidate, polling agent Qaharudan from performing the duties as a polling agent.
The PO said since Qaharudan was not a member of the assembly, he could not perform the duties as only a member of the house could become a polling agent.
Ali Madad Jattak has been appointed polling agent for PPP and allied parties’ candidate for president.
The process of voting underway and at least 49 members of the Balochistan Assembly have cast votes in the presidential polls.
PkMAP chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai is the candidate of the PTI-backed Sunni Ittehad Council for Presidential slot.
