Afghanistan summons Pakistan’s envoy over ‘cross-border shelling’

KABUL: Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has again summoned Pakistan’s ambassador to Kabul over alleged cross-border shelling of parts of eastern province of Kunar.
The meeting in Kabul was to protest Pakistan’s violation of Afghan territory.
According to MoFA, Pakistan has resumed its provocative missile attacks against targets on Afghan soil. There are also reports of a Pakistani helicopter patrolling the border regions of Afghanistan, said the MoFA in a statement on Monday.
In a press release on Monday, Afghan foreign affairs ministry said that Pakistan has resumed its missile shelling on Khas district of Kunar province.
