SHABQADAR: Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, the central chairman of the Qaumi Watan Party, expressed deep concern over the insufficient condemnation of the Israeli army’s oppression and violence in Palestine.
He emphasized that all forces contributing to coercion, violence, and oppression in Palestine are considered common enemies of Muslims.
Addressing the upcoming elections, Sherpao declared a stance against accepting experienced candidates from the previous government. Urging investigations into elements involved in past elections for justice.
He criticized past governments for relying on power rather than public support, eroding public confidence.
The meeting also witnessed the inclusion of Ilyas Khan, a former member of the district council and ex-district leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf, and his associates into the Qaumi Watan Party.
Sherpao advocated for equal opportunities for all political parties in elections. Highlighting the Election Commission’s responsibility in ensuring a peaceful campaign environment.
Expressing concern over the rising cost of living, Sherpao remarked on the people’s worries. Emphasized that in the next elections, voters would hold previous rulers accountable for failing to address public issues.
The Qaumi Watan Party reiterated its commitment to serving the people and called for public support based on this commitment.
The provincial chairman, Sikandar Sher Pau, Muhammad Fayaz Khan Advocate, and other leaders of the Qaumi Watan Party were present at the meeting.
