The spirit of Afghan Resistance is growing stronger, says Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the National Resistance Front. He revealed that more and more Afghans are sending him messages. These citizens are ready to support the struggle against Taliban rule.
Massoud spoke during an online event on Monday. The ceremony marked two years since the deaths of key fighters from the Afghanistan Freedom Front. These men were killed in April 2023 during a Taliban assault in the Salang district of Parwan province. Massoud honored their sacrifice and used the occasion to highlight the growing momentum of the Afghan Resistance.
He stated, “No regime can survive without the support of its people. Change is inevitable, and transformation will come.” He shared his hope for a future where Afghans celebrate freedom, justice, and democracy together. His words reflected his belief in a brighter tomorrow.
Massoud accused the Taliban of spreading fear and violence. He said their actions were rooted in tyranny. He stressed the importance of unity among all anti-Taliban forces. According to him, efforts to divide the opposition along ethnic, regional, or provincial lines must fail. He urged all factions of the Afghan Resistance to reject such tactics and stand together.
“The Taliban may control the clock,” he said, “but time belongs to the people of Afghanistan.” This powerful line captured the resolve behind the resistance. Massoud reminded everyone that no government can last without public support. He warned that foreign deals and political games cannot secure the Taliban’s future.
The online event was attended by various political figures. Among them was Mohammad Mohaqiq. They gathered to remember seven fighters, including Akmal Amir, who died in the Taliban attack. Their memory now fuels the continuing struggle.
The Afghan Resistance is no longer just a slogan. It is a growing movement, filled with hope and determination. As more citizens join the cause, the call for freedom gets louder. Unity, courage, and purpose are now the pillars of this resistance.
