What Happened During Ahsan Iqbal Live Interview Disruption

A brief Ahsan Iqbal live interview disruption surprised viewers on Thursday when the federal minister’s video link suddenly went offline during a live television programme. The interruption lasted only moments, but it quickly sparked concern among viewers.

As the screen went blank, a voice was heard saying, “bund karo isay” (shut this down). The unexpected moment left audiences confused and alarmed.

Host and Viewers React to Sudden Cut

When Ahsan Iqbal reappeared on air, the host welcomed him back and shared that viewers were worried. Some had been asking whether everything was okay.

Responding calmly, the senior PML-N leader assured everyone that “all is well.” The host then chose not to probe further and resumed the discussion, noting that only eight to ten minutes remained in the programme.

Clarification Issued After Ahsan Iqbal Live Interview Disruption

Later, Ahsan Iqbal addressed the live interview disruption in a post on X. He thanked people for their concern and explained that the issue was not political.

He said the disruption occurred because someone nearby was involved in an argument and did not realise that he was live on television. He added that he rejoined the programme shortly afterwards and urged people to avoid unnecessary politicisation of the incident.

Social Media Fuels Speculation

Despite the explanation, clips of the Ahsan Iqbal live interview disruption spread quickly on social media. Some users claimed that the video link was forcibly cut, calling the incident unusual and alarming.

These claims led to further discussion online, with many demanding clarity about what had actually happened during the live broadcast.

Family Gathering Cited as Possible Reason

A journalist later shared on X that he spoke directly to Ahsan Iqbal. According to him, there was a family gathering at the minister’s Islamabad residence. Children reportedly entered the study unexpectedly during the live interview.

The journalist said Ahsan Iqbal rejoined the programme soon after and that the host could confirm this account.

Attaullah Tarar Confirms ‘All Is Well’

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar also addressed the matter. He said he spoke to Ahsan Iqbal and confirmed that children had run into the study without warning.

Tarar repeated that “all is well” and confirmed that the federal minister rejoined the show after the brief disruption.
