Anmol alias Pinky

A Karachi court on Wednesday approved a three-day physical remand of accused Anmol alias Pinky, handing over custody to police for further investigation in an ongoing drug trafficking case.

The case of Anmol alias Pinky took a key turn after investigators again requested physical remand, which was earlier rejected by the court. The renewed request was later accepted, allowing police to continue detailed questioning and evidence collection.

According to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South, police are actively building the case and have also gathered details of previous records linked to Anmol alias Pinky as part of the wider investigation.

Authorities said Anmol alias Pinky was arrested during a joint operation conducted by the city police and a civil agency in the Garden area of Karachi. Officials recovered a large quantity of narcotics worth millions of rupees from the apartment, along with a pistol, chemicals, and other drug-related materials.

Investigators claim that Anmol alias Pinky was not only involved in drug possession but also allegedly engaged in drug preparation activities inside the rented residence. Police further suspect that the location was being used as a hub for a wider drug supply network operating in Karachi.

Officials also revealed that the accused had reportedly married a former police inspector. The rented house where Anmol alias Pinky was arrested is believed to have been used as a base for illegal narcotics activities.

Police said the investigation is still ongoing, and efforts are underway to identify other individuals linked to the network connected to Anmol alias Pinky.

Authorities have confirmed that further action will be taken as more evidence comes to light during the remand period.
