Quetta: In Balochistan, an alliance has been established between the Awami National Party (ANP) and the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) for several seats in the National and provincial assemblies.
The electoral alliance was forged for the National Assembly constituency NA-265 in district Pishin and the Balochistan Assembly constituencies PB-48 and PB-49.
PPP candidate Khair Mohammad Tareen, contesting from constituency NA-265 in Pishin district, has withdrawn in support of ANP’s candidate Rashid Khan Nasir.
In constituency PB-48, candidate Bibi Kotra has withdrawn, offering support to ANP candidate Obaidullah Abid. Simultaneously, ANP candidate Asghar Ali Tareen from PB-49 has withdrawn, endorsing PPP candidate Syed Nasir Agha.
