Asfandyar Wali Khan rejects federal budget as unrealistic

PESHAWAR: Central president of Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan has directed party workers in upcoming protest movement of the lawyers and opposition parties for independent judiciary.
In a statement, the ANP president said that the current government has made the lives of the people miserable. He said that the country was passing through critical time.
He said that the lawyer community was giving protest call against government’s attack on Supreme court. He said that the ANP always struggled for the rule of law, constitution, democracy, free media and independent judiciary.
He said that the current government was following dictatorial policies . He urged the opposition parties to shun their differences and take united stand against the government. He directed the party workers to take part in the protest movement of the lawyers and opposition parties. He supported the lawyers stance on government’s reference against Justice Qazi Faez Isa.
Asfandyar Wali Khan said that the country was facing economic crisis, inflation and employment. He said, “we have to work jointly for taking the country out of crisis.”
