ANP’s leader, nephew shot dead in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A local leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) and his nephew were shot dead in Peshawar on Wednesday.
According to police, some unknown armed men opened firing at the car of ANP leader Mohammad Ibrar Khalil in Tehkal area of Peshawar. Ibrar and his nephew Arshad were seriously injured in the firing. They succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital.
According to police the accused escaped after killing the ANP leader.
Mohammad Ibrar Khalil was former candidate of the ANP from PK-74.
