Army Chief Reaffirms Support for Balochistan Development and Peace

Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that Balochistan development can only be achieved through joint efforts. He stressed that the prosperity of the province depends on close cooperation among all stakeholders.

The army chief gave these remarks during his visit to Turbat, Balochistan. During the tour, he reviewed both security arrangements and ongoing development projects. He was warmly received by the Corps Commander Balochistan.

According to ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir assessed the province’s current security environment. He also examined the progress made on several socio-economic and infrastructure schemes. The visit was aimed at evaluating the prevailing conditions and strengthening coordination between military and civil institutions for the stability of Balochistan.

The army chief received a detailed briefing on the security situation. He was informed about the threats facing the province and the successful operations carried out against the “Fitna Al Hindustan.” Officials also updated him on joint government and military initiatives designed to uplift communities through socio-economic development.

In his meeting with civil administration representatives, the army chief highlighted the importance of good governance. He called for better infrastructure, people-centered progress, and inclusive growth as essential steps for Balochistan’s prosperity. Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated that the Pakistan Army stands with the people of Balochistan and will continue its support for peace, security, and sustainable development.

He also commended the role of the armed forces in ensuring stability. He acknowledged that despite tough challenges, the dedication and sacrifice of soldiers have played a vital role in maintaining peace across the province.

Through his statements, the army chief reinforced the message that lasting peace and Balochistan development are deeply linked. The commitment of both the government and military remains central to building a stable and prosperous future for the region.
