Assets beyond means case: Court allows NAB to interrogate Shahbaz in jail


LAHORE: An accountability court Saturday accepted an application of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for interrogating former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif in jail, in the assets beyond his means case.
In its application the NAB stated that it acquired details of Shahbaz’s assets which include claimed properties, bank accounts and private vehicles.
The NAB added that it managed to procure details of PML-N president’s accounts from 1997 to 2004 and of his accounts and properties from 2007 to 2018.
The court accepted the application of the NAB and allowed it to interrogate Mian Shahbaz Sharif in Kotlakhpat jail and sub-jail at Ministers Enclave Islamabad.
