ISLAMABAD: The Anti-terrorism court (ATC) has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Marriyum Aurangzeb, a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The case, which involves Marriyum Aurangzeb and others, was presented before Judge Abhar Gul Khan of the anti-terrorism court.
The decision to issue a non-bailable arrest warrant was made due to Marriyum Aurangzeb’s failure to appear in court.
However, the other co-accused individuals attended the court proceedings and fulfilled their required appearances.
The court provided time to the lawyers representing the accused to consult and prepare their arguments.
This legal action originates from a case registered in 2022 at the Green Town police station against Marriyum Aurangzeb and the other accused individuals.
