A terrorist attack near Karachi’s airport late Sunday night left 12 vehicles damaged, with three completely destroyed. Investigative sources report that a suicide bomber used a Mehran car in the incident. The bomber waited for a foreign convoy to exit the airport before crashing into one of the convoy’s vehicles.
Authorities believe the car was filled with explosives, leading to a massive explosion on impact. Efforts are underway to retrieve the car’s number plate and chassis number for identification. This explosion resulted in widespread panic and injured 17 people, including Rangers and police personnel. All injured victims are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital while investigations continue.
